Planning a Grand Rapids bachelorette weekend
Drinks, getting around and when to go.
A Grand Rapids bachelorette party is a hotel on the DASH loop, a brewery or two, a class, a party bike and restaurants, with the free DASH linking the stops. Eastown's candle bar and creperie are a ride away.
In the Downtown Refreshment Area you can carry a drink from a participating business in its marked cup, outdoors only, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and to midnight Friday and Saturday. Drinking on a licensed charter is legal; in a car it is not. The Rapid's airport bus runs Monday to Friday only, so weekend arrivals take a taxi or rideshare.
NOAA normal highs are about 70 degrees in May and 74 in September, against 58 in April and 61 in October, which is the wettest month. ArtPrize runs September 18 to October 3, 2026, and the Amway River Bank Run is May 8, 2027.
