How a figure gets corrected
What happens when a number on this site changes.
Every per head figure on this site is a Revelwick estimate, built the same way for every city. Prices move faster than any page, so treat a figure as a starting point and check the current price before you book.
Where changes are recorded
A correction that changes a published number is made on the page and written into the corrections ledger on the method page, with the date. The ledger is public and entries are not removed once the number has been fixed.
Rules change as well as prices
A parking regime, a liquor cutoff and a ferry timetable are all things this site states as fact and all things a city can change without telling anybody. Every page names the authority behind a rule, so check that source before relying on it.

What this site will never do
Said in advance, so nobody has to ask.
Accept payment for a listing.
No business can pay to appear on this site, to appear higher, or to have a recommendation against it removed. Mail about paid placement is not answered.
Publish a guest post.
Nothing on this site is written by somebody selling something in it, and there is no arrangement under which that changes.
Say yes to quoting a figure.
Any number here may be quoted with a link back. You do not need permission, and the lines behind every figure are on its city page.
