Scottsdale's place in the Bach app's marketplace, per its CEO in 2023

Second only to Nashville, by one planning app's count.

The CEO of Bach told KJZZ, the Phoenix public radio station, that Scottsdale was the app's No. 2 location, with Nashville traditionally the big winner. That is one company's marketplace, not a national count, but it matches why planners say groups come: sunshine, restaurants and photos.

06

What to know before you pick Scottsdale

The rules that change the plan.

Why is Scottsdale so popular for bachelorette party weekends? Sun, pools and Old Town. Experience Scottsdale gives nonstop times of about 1 hour 48 minutes from Denver and 2 hours 25 minutes from Dallas.

Rentals

The city publishes a limit of six adults per dwelling, rentals included. Every rental needs a city license, and guests at a nuisance party face a minimum $250 fine. A bigger group can split rooms at a hotel or use two homes.

Heat

NOAA normal highs run 102 to 104 degrees from June to August. The National Weather Service calls heat the deadliest weather in Arizona and advises avoiding alcohol in it, so plan outdoor fun for early morning.

Drinks

The drinking age is 21 and bars stop selling at 2 a.m. Drinking on a party bike is legal only on a licensed limousine pedal bar, beer and wine only, no glass.

Sun, pools and Old Town, with six adults per rental.

The places named here

Every resort, pool club, bar, restaurant and tour on this page is named by at least three independent sources, at least one of them authoritative, and its hours and terms are as published on its own website in September 2026. Revelwick has not visited them, does not rate them and is not paid by them.

Where the reasons come from

The reasons are from a KJZZ story in June 2023, where the quoted figures are the companies' own claims, and from Experience Scottsdale and City of Scottsdale pages. Rental, noise and pedal bar rules are from the Scottsdale Revised Code, drinking rules from the Arizona Revised Statutes, and weather from NOAA and the National Weather Service.
