Adults per rental under the city's published limit
Nine friends in one house is over the city's limit, so split the group or book a resort.
The City of Scottsdale says all dwelling units, including vacation and short-term rentals, have a maximum family size of six adults and their related dependent children. It enforces mainly against noise and disturbance: after 10 p.m. outdoor activity must stay at conversational volume, and a nuisance party can cost each guest at least $250.

Planning a Scottsdale bachelorette weekend
When to go, how to get around, and the rules.
A Scottsdale bachelorette party is a sunny weekend in the Sonoran Desert: a hotel or licensed home, a day club, Old Town bars at night, and one desert activity. Phoenix Sky Harbor is about 10 miles west of downtown Scottsdale, per Experience Scottsdale.
When to go
NOAA normals for Scottsdale give highs of about 76 degrees in March, 83 in April and 87 in October, against 102 to 104 from June to August. December and January lows are about 43. Experience Scottsdale says summer hotel rates can drop up to 60% off regular rates, and the National Weather Service calls heat the deadliest weather in Arizona and advises avoiding alcohol in it. Big dates: Barrett-Jackson January 23 to 31, the WM Phoenix Open February 8 to 14, and spring training February 19 to March 23, 2027.
Getting around
Old Town covers about one square mile of nine walkable districts, per the city. Rideshare is widely available. The free Scottsdale Trolley runs only Monday to Friday, 5:45 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. Passengers may drink on a hired bus or limo under state law, but never in a private car.
Rentals and noise
The city publishes a limit of six adults per dwelling and enforces against disturbance. Guests at a nuisance party face a $250 minimum fine for a first offense, and police can order non-residents to leave for eight hours. Ordinance 4719 targets rentals used as event venues for large parties.
Drinks
The drinking age is 21. Bars stop selling at 2 a.m., and drinking in a public place is illegal. Bars cannot let you bring your own bottle.
Six adults per rental, a cabana booked ahead, and nothing outdoors at midday in July.

Where this comes from
The costs are Revelwick estimates. The places and rules are as published in September 2026.
What the figures are
Every cost on this page labeled an estimate is a Revelwick editorial estimate for a group of about nine over two nights. It is a starting point for a budget conversation rather than a quote, so check current prices before you book.
The places named here
Every resort, pool club, bar, restaurant and tour on this page is named by at least three independent sources, at least one of them authoritative, and its hours and terms are as published on its own website in September 2026. Revelwick has not visited them, does not rate them and is not paid by them.
Where the rules come from
Rental, noise, pedal bar and pool barrier rules are from the Scottsdale Revised Code and City of Scottsdale pages, drinking rules from the Arizona Revised Statutes, Camelback from the City of Phoenix, weather from NOAA climate normals and the National Weather Service, and event dates from their organizers.
