Neighborhood

Stay in Uptown or Downtown, near the trolley.

Visit Dallas describes Uptown bars along McKinney Avenue as next door to each other or a trolley ride away, and calls the Downtown core walkable. The M-Line trolley links the Arts District with Uptown until midnight on Friday and Saturday. Deep Ellum and Bishop Arts are a ride or a streetcar away.

The four numbers that move a Dallas bachelorette party bill

Revelwick estimates of how four choices change the per head figure.

Three rooms in Uptown
+$90

More than a house, and it puts the group near McKinney Avenue bars and the M-Line trolley.

A rental house further out
−$140

Cheaper, but Uptown becomes a ride, and the city's 2023 rental rules are on hold rather than gone.

Go in April or November
−$160

NOAA normal highs of about 76 degrees in April and 67 in November, against about 96 in July and August.

One class instead of two
−$80

One afternoon class or glam session is plenty for two nights.

A Dallas bachelorette party guide: the rules, the calendar and the money

What to know when you are ready to book.

A Dallas bachelorette party is a fun weekend for the bride and her girls: rooftop cocktails, a class, brunch on a patio and a dueling piano bar, at about $1,090 a head for two nights as a Revelwick estimate. The planning is about a hotel near the trolley, the heat and the rental rules.

Drinks and the law

The drinking age is 21. Bars with a late hours certificate may serve until 2 a.m., and without one they stop at midnight on weekdays and 1 a.m. on Saturday night. Liquor stores are closed on Sunday and open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. the rest of the week. State law bans open containers in a car's passenger area, except in a hired party bus, taxi or limousine.

When to go

NOAA normals at DFW give highs of about 76 degrees in April, 78 in October and about 96 in July and August, and June and September both top 88. The State Fair runs September 25 to October 18, 2026, and the Red River Rivalry game is at the Cotton Bowl on October 10.

Getting around

DFW Airport has a DART Orange Line station at Terminal A, and Love Field is about seven miles from the city center. Visit Dallas lists a $6 DART day pass, and the M-Line trolley runs to midnight on Friday and Saturday.

Where the money goes

Rooms are the largest line at about $327 a head, then food at about $294, the night out at about $251 and getting there at about $218.

A hotel near the trolley, a reservation for nine, and a month that is not August.

How Dallas was priced and checked

The costs are Revelwick estimates. The places and rules are as published by their own sources in September 2026.

What the figures are

Every cost on this page is a Revelwick editorial estimate for a group of about nine over two nights. It is a starting point for a budget conversation rather than a quote, so check current prices before you book.

The places named here

Every place on this page is named by at least three independent sources, at least one of them authoritative, and its hours, prices and group rules are as published on its own website in September 2026. Revelwick has not visited them, does not rate them and is not paid by them.

Where the rules come from

Rental rules are from the City of Dallas, Ordinances 32473 and 32482 and the Fifth District Court of Appeals, alcohol rules from TABC and the state codes, airports from DFW, Love Field and DART, fares and neighborhoods from Visit Dallas, the trolley from its operator, events from their organizers, and the weather from NOAA climate normals.
