02

Where to stay in Cabo for a bachelorette party

Los Cabos is the municipality; Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo are its two towns, with the Tourist Corridor between them.

01

Cabo San Lucas, near the marina and Medano Beach

The lively town known for the marina, the Arch, day clubs and the nightlife district. Stay within walking distance of downtown for the nights out.

02

San Jose del Cabo

The relaxed town, with a gallery district, a Thursday Art Walk from November to June and a food walk on Tuesday evenings. Closer to the airport.

03

The Tourist Corridor

Resorts and villas between the two towns. A public bus with stops at the major hotels costs $2 to $3, and rideshare and private drivers run in many tourist areas.

04

A private villa

A pool, a kitchen and bedrooms for the whole group, divided ten ways. Ask about a chef or concierge, and check whether the beach below is swimmable. See booking a bachelorette rental.

05

Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa

A resort near the marina in Cabo San Lucas, where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez, with suites that have full kitchens and a suite type its site describes for larger groups.

06

An all-inclusive resort

Food, drinks and the pool in one price per person per night, for a group that wants no decisions.

03

How to choose a Cabo villa for a bachelorette party

What to look for in a villa rental so the whole group can enjoy the trip.

01

Bedrooms and beds for everyone

Count real beds, not sofas, so every guest has a place to sleep. Ask how many bathrooms the villa offers.

02

A pool and a view

A private pool, a hot tub and an ocean view make the villa the perfect place for photos and a slow morning.

03

Beachfront or walk to the sand

A beachfront villa is only worth it if that stretch is swimmable. Otherwise choose a villa near Medano or with a pool.

04

Staff, a chef and a concierge

Some villas include a housekeeper, a chef or a concierge who can book transportation, a boat and dinner. Ask what is included and what costs extra, and how to tip.

05

Location for the nights out

A villa close to downtown Cabo San Lucas keeps rides short. A villa in the Corridor or San Jose del Cabo needs a driver or a taxi at night.

06

Cancellation and hurricane terms

Read the cancellation policy, especially for dates inside hurricane season, and pay with a method that offers protection.

04

Where you can swim in Cabo

The Los Cabos Tourism Board says 43 percent of its beaches are considered swimmable. Rough surf, rip currents and undertows make the rest unsafe.

01

Medano Beach, Cabo San Lucas

Inside the bay with gentle waves, steps from downtown and the marina, and lined with beach clubs.

02

Lover's Beach

Next to the Arch, reached by water taxi from Medano Beach, with swimming and snorkeling. Divorce Beach on the Pacific side has crashing waves.

03

Chileno, Santa Maria and Palmilla

Calm spots along the Corridor. Chileno and Palmilla are Blue Flag beaches, and Santa Maria is a sheltered cove for snorkeling.

04

Read the flags

Green means safe. Red or black means unsafe, and during big swells the city closes beaches with a red flag. Local officials also advise staying out of the sea after drinking.

05

Cabo day clubs on Medano

Day clubs with food, drinks, music and fun, as described on their own sites in September 2026.

01

Mango Deck

Open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., with a group booking page and semi-private areas by date and time.

02

SUR Beach House

The beach club of Bahia Hotel, open to non-guests. There are no day passes; beach seating comes with a food and drink minimum. Reserve ahead.

03

Taboo Beach Club

Inside ME Cabo, adults only, open to the public from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with group menus for bachelorette parties.

04

Corazon Beach Club

At Corazon Cabo Resort, with private cabanas, a full bar, a resident DJ and a group enquiries email.

05

Bagatelle Los Cabos

A French Mediterranean beach club restaurant on Paseo de la Marina, open 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., with online booking.

06

Cabo nightlife for a bachelorette group

The nightlife district is downtown Cabo San Lucas and the marina. Mexico's drinking age is 18, and clubs check ID.

01

El Squid Roe

A three story club with six bars and a rooftop, 18 and over after 10 p.m., with VIP table packages including a bachelorette package.

02

Mandala

Open 8 p.m. to 2:45 a.m. with bachelorette table packages. Smart casual: no hats, swimsuits, sandals or tank tops. Tables are held until 11:30 p.m., and you need official ID and the card used to book.

03

La Vaquita

On Paseo de la Marina, open 8 p.m. to 2:45 a.m., with the same ID, booking card and 11:30 p.m. check-in rules.

04

Cabo Wabo Cantina

A downtown cantina open 9 a.m. to 2 a.m., with reservations and private events.

07

Cabo dining: group dinners and brunch

Restaurants with their published group rules.

01

Flora Farms, near San Jose del Cabo

A farm restaurant with brunch Tuesday to Sunday and dinner daily. Groups of six or more pay an 18 percent service fee, the whole party must be present to be seated, and there is no transport, though a taxi service operates next door.

02

Acre, San Jose del Cabo

A restaurant about 25 minutes from the airport with private dining spaces, including a table for 16 and a garden for 24.

03

Sunset Monalisa, the Corridor

Dinner from 5 p.m. with ocean terrace tables booked online, and a sales contact for celebrations.

04

The Office on the Beach, Medano Beach

Breakfast, lunch and dinner on the sand, with set group menus and reservations confirmed by the restaurant.

05

Los Tres Gallos

Mexican food in Cabo San Lucas, with OpenTable reservations, and a second location in San Jose del Cabo.

08

Cabo activities: a sail, a spa and more

Ideas for the girls between day clubs and nights out.

01

A sunset sail

Shared sunset cruises were listed from about $73 to $119 a person on operator sites in September 2026, some with a dock fee.

02

A private charter

A charter for the group to the Arch and Lover's Beach, with snorkeling. Ask what drinks, food and fees are included.

03

A spa day

A resort spa for relaxation before the big night, booked as a treatment for the bride and the girls.

04

The Art Walk in San Jose del Cabo

Thursday evenings from November to June, then dinner in town.

05

A villa chef night

A private chef, margaritas and a night in by the pool.

09

Villa against all-inclusive, ten people, three nights

Revelwick estimates. Same flights, same dates, same boat; the only variable is where everybody sleeps and eats.

VillaAll-inclusive

The gap is about $560 a head, or around $5,600 for a group of ten, as a Revelwick estimate. What the resort buys is fewer decisions: meals, drinks and the pool are all in one place.

10

Planning a Cabo bachelorette trip: passports, safety, transport and the best time

What to know before booking a Cabo bachelorette party.

A Cabo bachelorette party is sun, beach clubs, a boat day, a villa pool and lively nightlife in Cabo San Lucas, at about $1,780 a head for three nights with a villa as a Revelwick estimate. Plan three nights at least, because international travel takes most of a day each way, and book the villa, the boat and the dinners well in advance.

Passports

Everyone flying needs a passport book. Mexico's immigration institute says a passport card can only be used at land border crossings, not for international air travel. Check every guest's passport and its expiry date before anyone books a flight.

Safety

The US State Department sets its Mexico advisory state by state. Baja California Sur was at Level 2, exercise increased caution, in the most recent version we could read, dated August 2025. Baja California, the northern state, is a different state at a different level. Check the current advisory before booking, and use dispatched taxis or app-based rides rather than hailing a taxi on the street.

Getting around

Los Cabos International Airport, code SJD, is near San Jose del Cabo; the tourism board puts Cabo San Lucas about 23 miles away. A taxi between the two towns is around $60 to $70, and a public bus between them costs $2 to $3 and takes about an hour with hotel stops.

The best time to travel

NOAA station data for Cabo San Lucas gives highs near 79 degrees in January, 85 in April and November, and about 94 in August, the hottest month. September is the wettest. The eastern Pacific hurricane season runs from May 15 to November 30, with most storms between late June and early October, so November to May is the easiest window.

Villa or all-inclusive

A villa divides by the group and a resort charges per person, so for ten people the villa comes out about $560 a head cheaper over three nights, as a Revelwick estimate. For a similar beach weekend without a passport, compare Fort Lauderdale or San Juan.

Passports first, three nights, and a swimmable beach.

14

How Cabo was priced and checked

Cabo is not one of the forty-seven cities we price directly. The costs are estimates; the places and rules are as published in September 2026.

What the figures are

Every cost on this page is a Revelwick editorial estimate for a group of about ten over three nights, with flights. Villa and resort rates vary widely by season and property, so check current prices before booking.

The places named here

Every beach club, club, restaurant and resort on this page is named by at least three independent sources, at least one of them authoritative, and its hours and group rules are as published on its own website in September 2026. Revelwick has not visited them, does not rate them and is not paid by them.

Where the facts come from

Passport rules are from Mexico's National Migration Institute, the travel advisory from the US State Department advisory feed, the airport from its operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, towns, beaches, flags and transport from the Los Cabos Tourism Board and the municipality, hurricane season from the National Hurricane Center, temperatures from NOAA station data, and the drinking age from the Baja California Sur health agency.
