Planning a Fort Lauderdale bachelorette weekend: the rules, the calendar and the money
What to know before booking a Fort Lauderdale bachelorette party.
A Fort Lauderdale bachelorette party is a fun South Florida experience for the bride: sun, waterfront views, a cruise, rooftop cocktails and nightlife, at about $1,090 a head for two nights as a Revelwick estimate, about $600 below Miami. The planning is about a legal place to stay, the rules on the sand and the season.
Drinks on the sand
City Code bans drinking or carrying alcohol on the public beach and its parking, and bans open containers in public places across the beach area out to the Intracoastal. The exception is a licensed beachfront hotel serving someone in a rented beach chair. During declared high impact periods, such as spring break, the city can also ban coolers, tents and music.
When to go
NOAA normals for the airport give highs of about 78 degrees in February, 80 in March and 83 in April, the driest stretch of the year. June is the wettest month, and the Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30, with most activity between mid-August and mid-October.
Getting around
At Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International, rideshare picks up on the lower level, and a free shuttle connects to the Brightline and Tri-Rail.
Where the money goes
The house is the largest line at about $349 a head, then flights at about $273, food at about $251 and Saturday night at about $218. A private boat charter is about $115 a head extra, as a Revelwick estimate.
A registered rental, a day on the water, and drinks off the sand.

How Fort Lauderdale was priced and checked
The costs are Revelwick estimates. The places and rules are as published by their own sources in September 2026.
What the figures are
Every cost on this page is a Revelwick editorial estimate for a group of about nine over two nights. It is a starting point for a budget conversation rather than a quote, and prices move, so check the current price before you book anything.
The places named here
Every hotel, bar, restaurant and attraction on this page is named by at least three independent sources, at least one of them authoritative, and its hours, prices and group rules are as published on its own website in September 2026. Revelwick has not visited them, does not rate them and is not paid by them. Hours and policies change, so confirm before booking.
Where the rules come from
Rental, beach alcohol, open container, high impact and bar hour rules are from the Fort Lauderdale City Code, beach glass and tent rules from the city's Ocean Rescue page, charter boat rules from federal law (46 U.S.C. 2101 and 3301), airport transport from Broward County, the Water Taxi from its operator, neighborhoods from the Greater Fort Lauderdale CVB, the weather from NOAA climate normals, and hurricane season from the National Hurricane Center.
