Planning an Atlanta bachelorette weekend: the rules, the calendar and the money

What to know before booking an Atlanta bachelorette party.

An Atlanta bachelorette party is brunch on the BeltLine, Ponce City Market, a rooftop in Buckhead and dancing at a club, at about $1,040 a head for two nights as a Revelwick estimate. The planning is about a licensed rental, the drinking rules and a base near the trail.

Drinks and the law

The drinking age is 21, and city code bars anyone under 21 from licensed bars. Last sale is 2:30 a.m. and bars must be cleared by 3 a.m. On Sundays, restaurants can serve from 11 a.m. Liquor stores sell from 8 a.m. to midnight, and from 11 a.m. on Sunday. Drinking on streets, sidewalks, the BeltLine, in parks and at MARTA stations is banned, except in a temporary South Downtown district until January 31, 2027.

When to go

NOAA normals at the airport give highs of about 74 degrees in April and October and 90 in July, and October is the driest month. Atlanta Pride fills Piedmont Park in October, the SEC Championship is December 5, 2026, and Dragon Con runs September 2 to 6, 2027.

Getting around

MARTA costs $2.50 a ride or $9 for a day pass, and the Streetcar is $1 on a 2.7 mile downtown loop. Airport taxis charge flat fares for one person of $37.50 to Downtown, $39.50 to Midtown and $49.50 to Buckhead, plus $2 for each extra person.

Where the money goes

Rooms are the largest line at about $312 a head, then food at about $291, the night out at about $229 and getting there at about $208.

The train in, a base near the BeltLine, and no drinks on the trail.

How Atlanta was priced and checked

The costs are Revelwick estimates. The places and rules are as published by their own sources in September 2026.

What the figures are

Every cost on this page is a Revelwick editorial estimate for a group of about nine over two nights. It is a starting point for a budget conversation rather than a quote, so check current prices before you book.

The places named here

Every hotel, bar, restaurant and activity on this page is named by at least three independent sources, at least one of them authoritative, and its hours, prices and group rules are as published on its own website in September 2026. Revelwick has not visited them, does not rate them and is not paid by them.

Where the rules come from

Rental rules are from the Atlanta City Code, Part 20, drinking rules from the Atlanta City Code, Chapter 10, airport transport from Hartsfield-Jackson and MARTA, neighborhoods and the airport's reach from Discover Atlanta, the trail from the Atlanta BeltLine, events from their organizers, and the weather from NOAA climate normals.
