Weekends, one hour apart

The city and the vineyards are two different weekends. Pick one for two nights.

Visit Napa Valley puts the drive at about an hour, and one to two hours in places. A wine day takes most of a Saturday, so for a two night trip, choose the city or the vineyards. If you go, hire a driver: in California, passengers may not drink in a car a friend is driving, while passengers in a licensed limo or bus are exempt.
