Planning your Denver bachelorette party itinerary
Altitude, what to book first, and what to pack.
A Denver bachelorette party itinerary works best with one booked activity a day, a group dinner, a drag brunch and a show, and a free afternoon to explore the city. The altitude matters less than its reputation for a group that sleeps in Denver, but water and an easy first night still help.
What the CDC says about altitude
The CDC Yellow Book says unacclimatized travelers going to a sleeping altitude of 8,000 feet or higher, and sometimes lower, are at risk of altitude illness. Headache is the main symptom, often with loss of appetite, dizziness, fatigue or nausea, and the CDC notes the symptoms are like a hangover. Denver is 5,280 feet, and day trips that return to a lower altitude at night are much less stressful on the body.
Book these first
The drag show reservations, the Saturday table, concert tickets and the Death & Co large party reservation. Red Rocks shows are announced individually, starting as early as the August before the season.
What to pack
A refillable water bottle, sunscreen, layers for cool evenings, and comfortable shoes for the stairs at Red Rocks. For the costs and the full list of places, see the Denver bachelorette party guide.
Sleep in Denver, drink the water, and book the brunch.

Where this comes from
The schedule is Revelwick's advice. Places and rules are as published by their own sources in September 2026.
What is ours
The order of the weekend and the free afternoon are Revelwick's suggestions. Costs are Revelwick editorial estimates for a group of about nine over two nights. We are not a medical source.
The places named here
Every hotel, restaurant, bar and activity on this page is named by at least three independent sources, at least one authoritative, and its hours, prices and group rules are as published on its own website in September 2026. Revelwick has not visited them, does not rate them and is not paid by them.
Where the rules come from
Altitude guidance is from the CDC Yellow Book 2026 chapter on high-altitude travel and altitude illness. Denver's elevation is from the Colorado State Capitol, Red Rocks facts from Red Rocks, alcohol hours from the Colorado Liquor Code as compiled by the state Liquor and Tobacco Enforcement Division, cannabis rules from the State of Colorado, and airport transport from Denver International Airport and Visit Denver.
